Thank you for booking your Antenatal course through the Truthful Birth Company.

Here’s a few things to read before completing the booking.  The terms and conditions etc.

Data

Your personal information will be stored safely and wouldn’t be passed on to any other businesses or persons, unless you have consented to do so. I will ask if you want to be added to a WhatsApp group with the other parents in the group classes. This is optional and you can remove yourself if you change your mind. I might also email you updates or newsletters but you can out op of these at any time.

The Course

4, 2 and half hour sessions. For Private, group and online.

Phone call is 1 hour either online or video call over the phone.

Deposit

Non-Refundable £50 to secure your place. If you book and then decide to switch course e.g to a later one or to online this might be possible, just ask and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Payment

Full amount should be paid 24hrs before your course begins unless you’ve previously arranged something with myself.

If the full course fee is not received you will not be allowed to access the course or any of the materials.

Cancelling

Should you wish to cancel the course you can do so but the sooner you do it the better, as this allows time for other people to take your place.

7 days before you’ll be refunded the full amount for each session not delivered.

5 days before the next session will receive a 50% refund the rest refunded in full.

3 days or less the next session will receive a 25% refund the rest refunded in full.

Less than 3 days the next session will be charged in full then a refund for the rest of the undelivered sessions.

Please note the deposit is non-refundable.

For example: Group Course £200 + £50 deposit.

You attend one session and decide not to continue and cancel 5 days before the next session.

You’d be charged 1 full session for the one attended, 1 session 50% refund and receive 2 session full refund = £125 pound refund.  

If you have to cancel the course for extenuating circumstances, such as sudden financial issues or loss of baby please email me and let me know.  If possible, I’ll create a plan to best help you in your circumstances

Absence due to sickness etc

We all know it happens, people get sick.

If you or your partner is unwell, you are more than welcome to attend on your own, but if this doesn’t feel comfortable for you or you’re both ill, just email me and let me know.

If it’s a private session or a phone call. We can just reschedule when you’re better.

If it’s on online course or group session the material can be emailed to you for you to look at in your own time. If I have another group class happening nearby, I will also invite you along.

If baby arrives early.

Babies generally do what they want, and this can mean some early arrivals. While we hope that all our babies remain firmly inside till, we’re ready for them we know that this isn’t always possible. If your little one arrives before the course has finished you will be refunded for the sessions not delivered.

Medical Information

I’m not a medical profession so any evidence I give on medical conditions is from best resources I can find. Often medical journals, evidence-based websites and articles. I can’t diagnose conditions or tell you what to do in different circumstances. You are welcome to share what you feel comfortable sharing with me and I can sign post you to relevant evidence and latest reading on the topic. Any decision is yours, not mine or your medical teams. As always if your unsure about a new symptom or feel uneasy about yourself or the baby go a get checked by the hospital or a midwife/ Dr.
